Velozzi is recognized and has been awarded as a world-class Inventor, scientist, artist, designer, and entrepreneur. He is regarded to be a true renaissance man. Since an early age, Roberto has combined his creative talents with his scientific know-how to bring his inventions and technologies to the masses. Roberto’s education began in El Salvador, where he received an excellent grammar-high school education. Even in the jungle, his Catholic Priest instructors held PhD’s and Masters degrees.
After fleeing the revolution and arriving in the United States where he gained citizenship, Roberto attended UCLA for both undergraduate studies on biomaterials-art/literature and UCLA School of Medicine for graduate school. While at UCLA, Roberto was an honor student and was elected, by his peers to the Honors Council of UCLA Medical School. Roberto did several years of research on genetic engineering and neurobiology. He is a lifetime member of the Golden Key Honors Society, an honor bestowed on only to the top university students in the world. Roberto’s artistic talents have been developed since childhood.
He is Gifted with the rare ability to combine scientific intellect and artistic/design talents. Roberto has always been a maverick, accomplishing the impossible by combining these multi, cross-discipline talents to design and develop world class products. Roberto designed the Velozzi super car, lauded as one of the most beautiful automobile designs in the world.
This prompted Bayer Group, one of the largest chemical/material companies in the world, to contact Roberto and ultimately sign a global collaboration and licensing agreement to bring sustainable, environmentally friendly technologies to the world. This long-term relationship continues and supports Spidey Tek in the commercialization of spider silk technologies.

Dr. Lewis received his BS from Cal Tech in 1972 and his Ph.D. in 1978 from the UC San Diego. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology. He was on the faculty at University of Wyoming from 1980 until 2011. Professor Lewis joined Utah State University (USU) in 2011 as USTAR Professor of Biology. Professor
Lewis heads the Spidey Tek Science Team and is the Chief Science Officer for Spidey Tek. Dr. Lewis has published over 140 papers and 16 book chapters. He is responsible for having eleven issued patents regarding the mas-production of spider silk. His Spidey Tek Team’s research has had grants totaling over $33 million. Dr. Lewis has been privileged to instruct 19 Ph.D. and 4 M.S. students and currently has seven Ph.D. candidates and 26 undergraduates in his lab.
Dr. Lewis and his Spidey Tek Team are focused on the total spider silk technology and its commercialization. They have done what no other group in the world has done, by identifying the genes for all six of the different silk types spiders can make. They have constructed synthetic genes that make these proteins in bacteria, goats, alfalfa, and silkworms. The goal of the Spidey Tek team’s work is to provide a method to produce materials custom-designed for strength, lightweight, and elasticity for many applications.
The Spidey Tek Team’s research has been featured in many international publications and has been featured on television programs on the Discovery Channels, PBS’ Nova, the BBC, Stan Lee’s Super Humans and the television drama CSI New York. Dr. Lewis is the Chief Science Officers and leader of the Spidey Tek research and Science Team.
Steve Edwards’ career has centered on marketing, advertising, public relations, product and corporate branding, and television programming production. Mr. Edwards began his television career in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has been a senior principal in or has owned his own advertising agency for over 40 years and currently owns and operates Edwards Communications, LLC, which originated in Las Vegas, Nevada.
During his tenure in Las Vegas Edwards was also a full partner in the largest advertising agency in the state of Nevada, South West Advertising where he conducted the electronic marketing and advertising for as many as nine casino resorts at the same time. The list of resort clients Edwards worked with is long and varied; Caesar’s Palace, Palace Station Casinos, The Freemont Hotel, Riviera Hotel, Silver City, Silver Nugget, Silver Bird, and The Hilton / Flamingo resorts, to name a few. Edwards has consulted with and produced marketing materials and television documentaries for American Indian owned casinos in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Louisiana.
He was the Executive Vice President of National Entertainment/Major Video, a publically held Nevada based company that created the largest chain of video retail stores in the US, Major Video. During this period Edwards was instrumental in creating the video “super store,” the large scale video stores subsequently operated by Block Buster and others. Through its unique marketing campaigns and vast inventory concept, Major Video completely revolutionized the home entertainment industry.
While with National Entertainment Edwards was an internationally quoted expert on home video and home entertainment matters for Box Office magazine, Video Store magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, The Video Software Dealers Association and the Kagan Institute. He regularly spoke at or chaired marketing seminars and expert panels on marketing for the entertainment industry.
Mr. Edwards was in the top tier of executives of two publicly held companies and has considerable experience in financial public relations. Steve Edwards has been actively involved in the television production industry. He has produced over 2,500 hours of national and international network and syndicated programming. He attended Utah State University, The Ogden School of Radio Operational Engineering, Colortran Company’s Senior Lighting Director School and The US Government School for Guided Missile Systems Electronics, where he held Top-Secret security clearance.
Edwards has been awarded numerous awards for five advertising campaigns and was nominated for two Emmy awards for television program production. Mr. Edwards serves as Executive Vice President overseeing Marketing and Public Relations for Spidey Tek.

Mr. Santoro is the owner of Santoro Special Vehicles (SSV), an Engineering and Consulting practice formed in 1998. During this 20 year period, SSV has partnered with other prominent engineering firms; Velozzi Inc., Spira Engineering Inc., Syncronetis Inc., CleanBlu Inc. and various Aerospace and alternate fuel companies.
The projects involved in these co-operations ranged from Propane Fuel applications to Marine and other transportation specific development programs. The end use of the engineering developed in these programs spans a wide array of applications; from Military needs, to materials development, prototype fabrication and other end-use implications. Prior to Santoro Special Vehicles, Robert served in various capacities involving automotive motorsports.
In the 17 year span beginning in 1981 to 1998, he became directly involved with many of the premier names and organizations in this close-knit fraternity. Bob’s resume became a punch list full of respected names such as Stroppe, McLaren, Gurney, Millen, Bernstien, Saleen and many others. As he grew in this profession he accumulated 4 Off-Road Racing championships, 2 Road racing Championships, 1 Bonneville speed record and 6 Indianapolis 500 mile races with a top finish of 6th place.
After four years of study in the field of Diesel Technology, Robert was one of a field of over 400 applicants for one of the coveted positions on the 6 man team join Ford Motor Company as an Experimental Mechanic After six years, Robert was recruited to the University of Santa Clara, California, as Research Associate in the Mechanical Engineering Alternate Fuels Program. These early exploratory projects at the University of Santa Clara funded, through the U.S. Department of Energy were highly productive and were the conceptual starting point of what we have today in E85 fuels and Biodiesel. Mr. Santoro is the head of prototyping and product development for Spidey Tek.
Clifford V. Aaron, Esq. is a graduate of New York University School of Law with Juris Doctor and LL.M (Taxation) degrees, he is also a graduate of the Wharton School of Finance and holds a general course certificate from the London School of Economics.
He has worked as international tax counsel and managing director of Paramount Pictures International and affiliates in New York, London, Amsterdam and Rome, and as a tax attorney for a major Wall Street law firm. He also served a total of twenty-four years as CEO/President and legal/tax counsel of financial services and mortgage companies Pinnacle Acceptance Corporation and Scott Acceptance Corporation in Portland, Oregon. Recently he has served as tax attorney of a large tax resolution company in Los Angeles.
Mr. Aaron is a long time member of the New York State bar and former member of the American Bar Association’s Section on Taxation. Mr. Aaron has had major responsibility for capital-raising activities of several early-stage private enterprises and “small cap” public companies engaged in telecommunications, biotech, financial services, and Internet operations. Mr. Aaron is V. P. of Financial and Investor Relations, as well as international tax planning for Spidey Tek.
